The importance of the EuroNCAP safety rating means that manufacturers are now including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in all new vehicles. Windscreen mounted cameras control ADAS safety systems and without the correct calibration the ADAS systems may be redundant. They MUST be recalibrated after any suspension or body repairs, wheel alignment or tyre upgrades.
CALIBRATION
Most of these ADAS features rely on windscreen-mounted cameras in order to operate effectively. So if a windscreen needs replacing then these cameras will also have to be calibrated to ensure the safety systems continue to work as intended.
When we replace your windscreen we will also calibrate your windscreen mounted ADAS camera – making sure your vehicle safety systems are working as intended.
